After short studies in classical guitar in a music academy, he learns the guitar as a passionate sautodidact, while in the same time studying anthropology.

Finally, Benoit ended up dedicating himself entirely to music, almost like an anthropologist would do.

Multi-instrumentalist, composer, he digs everywhere where his crave for musical curiosity may find a source of expression.

As a sideman, he accompanies and composes for prominent French singers: Zaz, Grand Corps Malade, Pigalle, François Hadji-Lazaro…

You can also find him in the theater (as for example for Edouard Baer and his troupe), but also in the movie industry where he composes soundtracks.

He was rewarded for "Fleur de Peau" of Christophe Monnier in 2015 for his original music.

Whatever the project he is involved in, Benoit always feels concerned to serve the subject at best, while bringing in his personal touch.
